Good Sources for New Recruits
For any manager or broker/owner, recruiting is
an on-going process. Part of being a successful recruiter is knowing where to
look for likely prospects. The list below contains ten different occupations
that historically are good sources for new recruits for your office.
1. Occupations with real estate affiliated
background such as commercial brokerage, property management, escrow officers,
mortgage brokers, asset managers, appraisers, title company representatives,
and Realtor's assistants.
2. Prior experience in commissioned sales.
3. Teachers and students.
4. Individuals with a past history of athletic
success.
5. Recent additions to other real estate
firms.
6. Owners, managers, and management trainees
of local small business.
7. Individuals with a successful fund raising
background.
8. Insurance agents.
9. Stock brokers
10. Computer salespeople.
