The Top 10 Measures of a Balanced Life

Do you live a balanced life? How can you be sure? It's amazing how
many people live their lives driving others or being driven themselves, drifting
aimlessly or struggling frantically. Balance is a delicate matter. To live a
balanced life in an environment of radical change and frequent chaos is a real
test. Here are ten "self checks". If your life is truly in balance, you are
able to:
1. Shift quickly and easily between rest and action.
2. Feel a deep sense of inner peace - most of the time.
3. Have supportive friends, surroundings, and experiences.
4. Deal confidently with hardship and crisis.
5. Observe without feeling the need to judge.
6. Set aside your personal concerns when necessary.
7. Treat others with forthrightness and integrity.
8. Have faith in a power greater than yourself.
9. Deal gracefully with the continuing paradoxes of life, including the
paradoxical qualities within yourself.
10. Know that what's happening now, is right!
