This list contains a number of ways to prospect some often neglected sources of business.

    1. Develop in-company referrals and inter-company referrals.

    2. Moving, garage, or estate sales.

    3. Marriage, birth, or graduation announcements in the paper.

    4. Bankruptcy or foreclosure notices in the paper or on the subject property.

    5. Vacant or neglected properties.

    6. Furniture for sale ads in the paper or on bulletin boards.

    7. Promotion announcements in the paper.

    8. Articles indicating that a business is moving into the area, moving out of the area, downsizing, or closing.
